Powerful efficiencyThe engines of the Audi Q7

On the race track our engines regularly astound the world. The same is true on the road. There’s no more impressive proof of the reliability and durability of an engine than success in the 24-hour race of Le Mans. The Audi Q7 brings this energy to the road and into your life each day anew.

Choose for yourself the power you want to carry you away: from a 3.0 TDITDISynonymous with muscular torque delivery and outstanding efficiency: TDI. Today, TDI engines are sporty, smooth and economical.TDI quattro with 176 kW (236 bhp), a 4.2 TDI quattro with 250 kW (335 bhp) or one of the powerful FSIFSIGetting more out of every drop of petrol.FSI ® engines. The 4.2 TDI quattro with 250 kW (335 bhp) and 760 Nm also offers a very efficient and powerful diesel unit. The 4.2-litre TDI engine affords high power with low fuel consumption. Enjoy the dynamics of a sports car without sacrificing touring comfort, smooth running or quiet, and experience another example of the versatility of this automotive concept.

As a 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro, the Audi Q7 comes with a nitrogen oxide catalytic converter and AdBlue®* tank, in addition to the standard catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter. Combined with further innovations like the common rail technology with 2000 bar injection pressure and high-efficient exhaust gas recirculation, this yields a considerable reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions. Audi thereby opens a new dimension for the million-fold proven TDI principle of diesel direct fuel injection with turbocharging. The new 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro offers excellent consumption values and superb emissions data – with the customary high equipment level and performance of the Audi Q7.

*AdBlue® is a biodegradable additive, injected upstream from the nitrogen oxide catalytic converter in minimal amounts.
