Outlook 2011Audi stays aboard Kieler Woche!
After last year’s successful debut Audi will continue its involvement as the premium partner of the “Kieler Woche” in 2011. The Audi A1 team, 2010’s winner of the International German Championship, will participate in the races again.
From 18th to 26th June 2011 the harbour city of Kiel will be the location of the largest sailing festival in the world. The event which counted more than three million guests in 2010 will also offer a wide range of entertainment connected to the fascination of sailing in this year’s program. Besides high-classed racings the onshore program will ensure a varied and exciting time in Kiel.
The Audi Sailing Arena at Kiel Yacht Club will offer sailers and non-sailers the chance to get close to the races through live-broadcasts. For those who would like to experience “Vorsprung durch Technik” by themselves Audi will offer test-drives in current models.
At Kiel Schilksee the Audi Hospitality serves as the base camp for the Audi A1 team which surprisingly won the International German Championship in 2010 and is composed of a mixture of professional sailors and Audi guests. The team will take part in the KielCup Alpha race this year.
Variety at the Audi Hospitality is ensured while meeting professional sailors or watching the program on stage including reports, moderation and interesting guests.
