After the first quarter of the Le Mans 24 Hour race, the three Audi R15 TDI cars were fourth (#9 Mike Rockenfeller), sixth (#8 Benoît Treluyer) and seventh (#7 Dindo Capello).
The right-hand side mirror of the Audi R15 TDI #9 had to be replaced as demanded by race organisers after it had been ripped off in an incident in the packed pitlane. The pit-to-car radio of #7 Audi R15 TDI did not work after Tom Kristensen’s accident but during a Safety Car phase the radio link was restored.
