From A to B, from September 22 (arrival September 21) to September 30 (departure October 1) – the Audi Efficiency Challenge, A to B, from Norway to Italy, took the 48 Audi drivers along 3 sections through 8 countries in 9 days, passing through the most beautiful scenery and along the most scenic routes.
Section 1: from Ǻ on the Lofoten Islands to Trondheim
In the first stage, the drivers covered a distance of 1,161 km. Over a total driving time of 19 1/2 hours the participants headed south via Harstad and Mo i Rana to Trondheim, in the south of Norway.
Section 2: from Trondheim to Berlin
In the 2nd section, the teams left Norway. After arriving in Denmark, they then embarked on the ferry in Gedser to cross the Baltic Sea to Germany. After more than 1,600 km, they reached the German capital Berlin on day 3, leaving just the third and final section.
Section 3: from Berlin to Bée
On the home straight – from Germany the teams then headed towards the Mediterranean. Their route took them from Berlin to Prague, then Kitzbühel, and across the Alps to Bée in northern Italy. After 9 days, more than 4,000 kilometres on the clock and over 56 hours' total driving time, they arrived at their destination in Bée.
