The new high-tech flagship of the brand – The Audi A8 L
The full-size A8 sedan embodies the Vorsprung durch Technik for which Audi is renowned. The brand now presents the new top version of its flagship: The long-wheelbase A8 L sets standards for luxury, dynamics and efficiency. Audi begins assembly of the Q5 in India
* Audi has started assembly of the Q5 model in Aurangabad, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. In the future, up to 1,500 units of the Q5 will run off the assembly line there each year for the Indian market. The sporty SUV is the third Audi model after the A4 and A6 to be produced in India, increasing the production volume of the company with the four rings in India this year to more than 2,400 units, compared with 732 vehicles in the preceding year.

AUDI AG: More than 100,000 cars delivered in half a year for the first time ever in China
Audi has sold more than 100,000 cars within a half-year period in China and Hong Kong for the first time ever – up 64 percent on the corresponding prior-year period. In June alone, the Company delivered 21,436 cars to Chinese customers.

The Audi R8 Spyder 4.2 FSI quattro – fascinating dynamics
Audi is adding another model to its R8 high-performance sports car lineup: Hot on the heels of the R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI quattro comes another model with a V8 engine. The 4.2-liter FSI produces 316 kW (430 hp) and launches the open-top two-seater to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 299 km/h (185.79 mph).

The Audi R8 GT: Extreme lightweight construction and tremendous performance
Now even more powerful, lighter and faster: Audi presents a limited-production version of it R8 high-performance sports car, the R8 GT. The output of its 5.2-liter V10 has been increased to 412 kW (560 hp); vehicle weight has been reduced by roughly 100 kilograms (220.46 lb). The R8 GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h (198.84 mph).

Audi sells most all-wheel-drive vehicles worldwide
No other premium car manufacturer sells as many vehicles with all-wheel drive throughout the world as does Audi. Last year the Ingolstadt-based carmaker built 316,824 cars with quattro drive. This means that around a third of all the Audi cars leaving the factory in 2009 were equipped with this successful technology.
